Apple Watch - Advanced Workshop

Prerequisites:

• Must have taken a previous Apple Watch class at the Grand Computers Club or have intermediate knowledge of the Apple Watch (this class is not for beginners).
• Knowledge of iPhone with the latest iOS 18 software installed.
• Knowledge of the Apple Watch with the latest WatchOS 11 software installed.
• Apple Watch Series 6, 7, SE, 8, 9, or Ultra is required (Series 5 or earlier models are not compatible with the latest WatchOS and will not benefit from the class).
• Bring your iPhone and Apple Watch to class.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Apple Watch and WatchOS 10.
• This class will be held in-person in the Computer Club Classroom.

Materials: iPhone and Apple Watch Series 4, 5, 6, 7, SE, 8 or Ultra

Objectives:

1. By the end of this class, you will be able to:
2. Control your home appliances using your Apple Watch.
3. Update and download software on your Apple Watch.
4. Add appointments to your calendar via your Apple Watch.
5. Use the Find My app to locate your devices.
6. Stay informed about current events and significant news stories through your Apple Watch.
7. Utilize shortcuts to launch specific apps on your Apple Watch quickly.

Description:

During the first hour, we will delve into the various settings of the Apple Watch and explore a variety of apps designed specifically for it, including an in-depth look at WatchOS 10.

In the second hour, you will have the opportunity to ask any pressing questions you have about the Apple Watch, ensuring you get the most out of your device.
