Elements 5 Layers and Masks (Class 5)

Prerequisites:

• Basic computer knowledge including - Open a file, send, download and save images from your phone/camera, or email them.
• Having taken the previous 5 Editor classes or have the equivalent knowledge.
• This course is taught for Windows 10 and 11 even though the class will be taught on Windows 11 computers.
• Familiar with Windows 10 or 11.

Materials: Photoshop Elements 18 or more recent.

Objectives:

1. Explore and work with the 5 kinds of layers: image, adjustment, fill, shape and type.
2. Introduce you to masks and clipping masks and what they can do for you.

Description:

This course is intended for those who want to learn some advance features for improving their images in the Expert Mode. These two skills are the magic of Photoshop Elements.

Layers: Understanding layers in vital to using the power of PSE. Images can be placed on separate layers and adjusted/rearranged to create a composite. This is where you can really explore your creativity.

The class will be taught in 2022 version, but you do not need to upgrade if you have 18 or a more recent version of Photoshop Elements.
