Prerequisites:

• The students :
• o Should have either a Windows 10 license of either Home or Professional for the device involved.
• o Have access to a Windows administrative account id
• o Be able to find Windows setting (gears) icon by clicking on bottom left windows icon, then click on gears, click on update and security, click on Windows update, click on update history to find out where their devices operating system has been updating too.
• o Have an internet device where Windows 10 has been installed. Which is assumed to have been updated at least to update 1903 spring 2019 for newer devices or better
• o Be able to find Windows hidden icons menu by clicking on bottom right by clicking on bottom invert carrot icon and find where the white and black shield of Windows Defender is to see its status.

2. o The new re-build Edge-2 web browser how it was based upon the opensource Chromium browser released in 2008.
3. o The browser helper objects (BHO) that have been removed from Edge which are: Java, Active x, Adobe Flash and Google web extensions.
4. o The new browser programs added to Edge (SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge, the SmartScreen for Microsoft store apps, and the private viewing (browsing in private).
5. o The memory protocols’ sandboxing, isolated browsing, and exploit protection with the associated supporting Windows features that Microsoft used to harden it further.
6. o How the privacy and security options should be set in Windows 10 operating system to improve Edge-2 by limiting your devices exposure to the internet.
7. o The performance comparisons among the leading web browsers and how they work in different operating systems (Windows 10, Mac OS.)
