Prerequisites:

• Familiarity using a Mac.
• Ability to use a mouse confidently with a basic knowledge of editing; e.g., backspace, delete, highlight, insert, cut, copy, paste, making folders, help menu, toolbars, etc.
• Knowledge of basic math operations.

Objectives:

1. Learn to make spreadsheets the Mac way with iWork: Numbers.
2. Add color, format and sort values.
3. Use formulas and place text in text boxes, shapes, and table cells.
4. Import and export spreadsheets for use in other applications.

Description:

This class is specifically about Numbers, which allows you to create exceptional spreadsheets in minutes. Students will create spreadsheets that manage data easily. Apple-designed templates allow you to make spreadsheets for home with charts, formulas, and more.
