iMovie for Mac and iPhone/iPad

Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with using a Mac, iPhone, or iPad.
• All devices should be updated to the latest operating system.
• Some familiarity with the Photos app for the given devices.

Materials: Must have an iPad in class

Objectives:

1. Learn to start a movie project.
2. Learn to import media.
3. Learn to add media to timeline.
4. Learn to trim and split clips in a timeline.
5. Learn to edit images and frames.
6. Learn how to utilize audio: add music or spoken track, change audio levels including fading and separate or mix audio and video tracks,
7. Learn how to add transitions, titles, and backgrounds.
8. Learn to export completed projects.

Description:

Using the iMovie app, students will learn to create movies from existing or new videos and photos. We look at how to import video clips into iMovie and organize your clips to produce and share final product.
