iPhone -The Next Step

Prerequisites:

• This class is for those interested in learning more about the features of the most popular phone sold -- the iPhone.
• Basic Knowledge of iPhone and the latest IOS (18) software installed (iPhone SE/XR/XS and later)
• Please bring your iPhone to class.
• Students must know their Apple ID (account) and password.
• This class will be in-person in the Computer Club Classroom and will be a single session on one day.
• Completion of the iPhone Basic class is desired but not mandatory.

Materials: Bring iPhone SE/XR/XS and later to Class

Objectives:

1. Here are just some of the features that we will be exploring on the iPhone:
2. - Show how to locate and connect to Wi-Fi.
3. - Show how to move icons and setup widgets on the home screen.
4. - Show how to delete icons and apps on the home screen.
5. - Show how to set up folders on the home screen.

Description:

In this class, the students will learn how to navigate the Settings App on the iPhone. The students will be introduced to the basic iPhone functions and how to set up different functionality using the device. The class will familiarize the student with how to check their iCloud information and how to confirm or delete their current subscriptions. While in the Settings app, the student will be shown how to set up Control Center, Accessibility settings, Emergency SOS and how to check the device battery life and the apps that are draining your battery.

Students will be shown how to access the App Store and how to setup Apple Wallet and Apple Pay.
